Under Latin Skies

This is the story of naïve investors who had set their sights on the classic dream of an idyllic life in Spain. It is told in an amusing way and describes various near disasters as well as numerous local characters, whose stories it tells. The book deals light-heartedly with the story of the house, an old farmhouse high in the hills of northeastern Andalucía. It explains much of the author's background and the fun, challenges and frustrations of trying to get building work done in a different country, with a different legal system and very different culture. It has been written in brief chapters with the traveler in mind.
