I wrote this memoir to share my experience and my opinion. It is not meant to discount anyone else's story or experience on this matter, but to shed a light on a trend that is very popular right now--plastic surgery. I am a nurse, but never worked in the plastic surgery area. So I wasn't familiar with with all its intricacies. This book is for people like me who just didn't know. I suggest you talk to someone who has gone through the very same thing or things you are considering! Weigh the cost, know all your options, turn over every rock, and then make your decision. Trust and believe in your own instincts, that you have made the best decision for yourself. No one should be able to solely influence your decision.

I am a 59 yr old black woman who is a 6 foot tall and somewhat attractive. I live in Sunny Southern Cali. However, both my parents were from South Carolina. I have 2 years of Community College, 2 years of Nursing School. I have a certificate in Medical Billing. I am currently still registered with the state as a Licensed Vocational Nurse. I let my Cosmetologist license expire accidentally. Kept putting it off! I have an organizing and decorating business as well. I worked for The Department of Corrections from 1989 until 2001, when I medically retired from an injury. I was an MTA, (Medical Technical Assistant.) I am married to a wonderful man named Henry Blackwell. We have 4 grown children, of which 3 are married. We also have a cantankerous Cockapooh! I have had the desire to Author books since high school. I have a humorous and positive outlook on life, and started 3 more books 20 yrs ago. I have recently revisited the possibility of revisiting those and finishing them. This is the story of my journey and I am giving it to you straight! No chaser! I am a Christian and love my Lord and Savior.
