Malcom X. Bowser is a writer, curator, and founder of Urban X Podcast and UrbanX.nyc blog. As a Bronx native, he navigated his urban experience by being both book and street smart. He earned his B. A. in History from SUNY College at Old Westbury in 2015. He's been a contributing writer for the New York Trend publication and various blogs. He's woke, but he loves naps.Steve Canal is a Senior Marketing Executive, award-winning branding architect, author, and national motivational speaker. A self-proclaimed corporate-preneur, economic empowerment advocate, Steve serves as Principal and CEO of The Brand Executive (a digital platform that provides people with the tools to grow as entrepreneurs or successfully climb the corporate ladder by being CEO of their personal brand). As a native of New York and graduate of Fordham University, Steve has developed award winning corporate marketing strategies, creatively aligned companies with their target audiences and consulted entrepreneurs in strategic brand expansion. Canal has led consumer marketing initiatives for a diverse portfolio of brands including top Fortune 100 companies, Allstate Insurance Co., U.S. Army, American Airlines, and McDonald's and is now devoted to helping to change the way America enjoys beer as an Innovator for MillerCoors. Despite having an award-winning career that has garnered recognition from the likes of Forbes, Huffington Post, Black Enterprise, Inc Magazine, the Golden Trumpet Marketing Food & Beverage Award, Black Enterprise Modern Man of Distinction, National Urban League Corporate Circle Award, 100 Black Men, and more - it is Steve's core beliefs, family values and passion for growth that fuel his drive to achieve greatness.
