Valerie's Eyes

Valerie¿s Eyes involves the struggles of a 23-year-old divorced mother of 3, who became blind as the results of a gunshot wound to her head. Her ex-lover is falsely accused while her assailant remains a fugitive. Born to parents, who combine the religious teachings of Catholicism with the practices of Santeria, Valerie¿s religious beliefs are invariably tested. She copes with fear and failing relationships, but Valerie is unprepared for the betrayal that she receives from family. With each effort to overcome life¿s difficulties, Valerie¿s hopes and dreams vanish. Through the eyes of a trusted friend, Valerie learns to see again.
