Vengeance in Vallejo

Many books have been published about a private investigator. But, none who was also a certified polygraph examiner, ex-police officer and a retired Army officer. John Bodie is the only one and he's tough, smart and humorous.An attorney kills the man who tries to rape her on Halloween night in her Seattle office. She escapes from the Asesinos, a local gang, with the brother of her attacker as their leader. Upon her arrival in Vallejo, Washington, she hires John Bodie a retired private investigator and polygraph examiner to keep her alive. The gang finds her location and takes over the small town police department, taking the police chief, his assistant and another officer hostage. Before the siege is over there is a rape, murder, mass shoot out, and chases.
