Vera Mortina

Dr. Richard Alton Bates recruits Dr. Vera Martina as a partner for his growing internal medicine practice, but mistakenly the recruiter fails to perform an adequate background search. Vera Mortina, Richard's new partner, soon appears, accompanied by acrimony, odd and disturbing idiosyncratic behaviors, and unexpected deaths of several of his closest partners. The closer he looks into Vera, the more imperiled his own life becomes.This is interpersonal medical fiction at its best, and will appeal to anyone who has contact with healthcare professionals.
