Verge 2016 Futures

The twelfth edition of Monash University's creative writing annual features work by established and emerging writers on the theme of Futures: What has been; what is now; what is coming. Futures are a reflection of the past, but as we break away from the old we hover in a mist of the unknown - it can overwhelm us with uncertainty and despair or embody all our hopes for a better world. If life is a journey, what paths do we seek, what paths do we choose and what paths are thrust upon us? Our journeys are diverse and these paths cross, intertwine as we connect with each other.
