A Visit to Santa Claus

First published in 1916, this beautifully illustrated and attractively shaped book tells the story of a boy named Teddy who flies to the North Pole to see Santa. He gets to feed the reindeer, help Santa in his workshop and also to help him pack his sleigh. After all of Teddy's adventures he is delivered safely home just in time for Christmas morning.

Maragret Evans Price was a prolific children's book author who wrote and illustrated many books in a long and illustrious career spanning the 1910's through the 1950's. The present volume is among the works she authored herself. Married to Irving Price, who founded the Fisher-Price toy company, her illustrations also served as the basis for some of their first products.
