Barbara Bottner is a screenwriter, actor, lyricist, and author of more than forty children's books. Chris Sheban is a graphic designer and illustrator who has been awarded three gold and three silver medals from the Society of Illustrators in New York. He has illustrated many picture books including Ellen Yeomans' The Other Ducks, Patricia MacLachlan's Someone Like Me, and Job Wanted by Teresa Bateman. He lives in Chicago and catches a lot of colds.
