Carol Saunders, BA, BSN, MSCN, was the Director of Patient Care at the Neurology Center of Fairfax, Virginia. She has been a member of the Consortium of MS Centers since 1990, and a member of the International Organization of MS Nurses since its founding in 1997. Carol formerly served on the Professional Advisory Committee and Chapter Services Committee of the National Capital Area Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society (NMSS) and was a cofounder of the Greater Washington, DC, area Consortium of MS Nurses. She has been a member of the NMSS since 1993 and in 1998 was honored as the NMSS Volunteer of the Year. She has been a nurse for 25 years specializing in MS issues.
