This book not only encourages conservation of our oceans and beaches, but a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Harbor Island Turtle Program, Harbor Island SC to help with these efforts.

Tamra is an artist, illustrator, art teacher of 25 years, explorer, and story-teller. Her favorite way to document her adventures is through her art.
Tamra has taught every age from pre-school to adult. The past 12 years she has focused on high school advanced placement art where she and her students have won numerous local, regional, and national awards.
She became inspired to illustrate her observations by using visual story telling to encourage creative thinking and develop empathy by seeing the world through another person (or creature's) point of view. Tamra loves visual story telling because every time the book is read it can be a new story!
Tamra loves spending time with her grown children and a sweet little Sea Star that calls her "Mimi"! She loves animals, and being outdoors in nature, preferably at the beach!
