This book is an inquiry into the meaning and various justifications of whistleblowing policies.The recent legitimization of organizational whistleblowing suggests an adaptation of organizations to public opinion. This book examines the different kinds of legitimization whistleblowing policies can be given. It considers existing whistleblowing policies and those currently being developed. Whistleblowing policies are regarded as the institutionalisation of whistleblowing.
