Wind Power and Power Politics: International Perspectives

This book offers a detailed exposition of contemporary wind power issues. Much of the existing wind literature has tended to focus on the technological aspects, and the economics of wind generation, while this book critically evaluates the political, corporate and social dimensions of wind ownership. In particular, this book examines the important theme of the prevalence, political and policy consequences and advantages and disadvantages of corporate and community ownership of wind power.
