These historical sketches written by members of a life writing class in Lafayette, Louisiana, are the result of a program sponsored by the University of Louisiana, Lafayette and contain memoirs of doctors, legislators, engineers, geologists, teachers, and many others. The personal stories reflect individual voices and record humorous and poignant experiences of the writers. They are based upon memories reaching back to deeply inspiring moments of time and places.
