Joyce Goodman is reader in the history of education at King Alfred's College, Winchester, where she is director of the Centre for Pedagogical Studies. Sylvia Harrop is a senior fellow in the Department of Education at the University of Liverpool. Jane Martin is a senior lecturer in sociology at University College Northampton. Angela O'Hanlon-Dunn, a graduate of the universities of Warwick and Liverpool, teaches English at Savio High School in Liverpool. Wendy Robinson is a lecturer in education at Warwick University and a member of the Centre for Research in Elementary and Primary Education.
