Anne Durst is an Associate Professor of Educational Foundations at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. She has published scholarly articles on the history of the Laboratory Schoolteachers and on the history of day care in the United States. Prior to her work in higher education, she taught in a California charter school and in preschools in New Mexico and France.
