Dr. Michael Bradley grew up in Philadelphia where, he says, he barely survived his own adolescence. He tried being an officer in the U.S. Army, a disc jockey, and a lawyer before fate landed him in a job working with teenagers. To his amazement, he loved that job so much he went back to school to become a psychologist. In the thirty years since, Dr. Bradley has worked with all kinds of teens in all kinds of places, such as schools, jails, and community programs. After writing his first book, Yes, Your Teen Is Crazy!, Dr Bradley received the Benjamin Franklin Award for Best New Voice in Nonfiction. Dr. Bradley lives in suburban Philadelphia where he worries constantly that his own two kids might turn out like him.
