You¿re the Reason God Made Oklahoma is a true story about two teenage brothers that were also very close pals. It was a time of political strife, the Viet Nam War, and unknown futures for all draft age males. Jim and Ed left Southern California and two sister girlfriends behind to work in the hay fields of their hometown in Oklahoma. Promising the two sisters that they would be back at the end of summer so that one of them could get married, they hadn¿t realized what was waiting on them in Coweta. Facing many disappointments and hardships, only one would ever return to Southern California.
