Amy Allinson is a former teacher and mother of five children from Longwood, Florida. Amy graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in the School of Education. Matt Allinson, Amy's son, lives in Albany, New York. He and Jen own Maddie, the adorable pug featured in Maddie's Great Adventure. Matt graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with majors in Business and Communication. Matt has had numerous poems and short stories published. Kate Allinson, illustrator, is Amy's daughter and Matt's sister. Kate attends the University of Florida with her major in Digital Arts and Sciences in the School of Engineering. Kate has received awards in art, poetry, and literature.
