Birdie & Bodhi Coastal Tails

Birdie and Bodhi are two husky shepherd mix puppies rescued from a box in Riverside, California. When young producer Zoe fosters them, she falls in love immediately… but her bustling career makes it impossible to adopt both puppies. If she can get Bodhi to her semi-retired parents in Boston, they'll raise the puppy on the east coast.
As Bodhi adapts to life in Wellesley, Massachusetts and Birdie thrives in Los Angeles, their upbringing contrasts yet mirrors one another. The narrative weaves in state symbols, landmarks, and local flora and fauna from both regions, offering a vibrant backdrop to the puppies' tales. Marcy Rosenberg has been an early childhood educator and Wellesley resident for over 30 years. She has read hundreds of books to hundreds of children. When Bodhi and Birdie came into her family the way they did, she knew it would be a story that children would enjoy. "Birdie & Bodhi: Coastal Tails" is her first book.
Emma Bloodworth is an illustrator from Chattanooga, Tennessee and a student at the Ringling College of Art and Design. She has an old chihuahua named Bug who sat with her while she illustrated this story. When she isn't drawing, Emma likes rollerblading, seeing her friends, and going on hikes.
