Love Doesn't Come Easy

Susan had no idea how much her life was about to change as she heard the voice in the hall yell, “Fire! Fire!” on that cold winter morning. She could not know she would fall in love with that “kid” and have to choose between two men. Nor did she have a crystal ball to tell her of the car accident that would leave her face looking like hamburger. She did not yet know the people who would enter her and little Lindy’s life.So many changes were about to happen.

Alice B. Davenport has lived in several parts of the country, both as a child and as an adult. She has worked in restaurants, motels, and factories. She currently owns and operates MOONBOW, a sewing shop in Las Cruces, New Mexico. She has a Bachelor of Arts from Boise State University in Idaho and a Master of Science from New Mexico State University. She is a Certified Family Life Educator (CFLE) working with “people problems.”
