The man in the painting on the front cover is my father. A quintessential people person who wasn't interested in just being one of the crowd; the color scheme of his first house is a rich example! This meant in his late twenties, getting off the road well traveled and finding the unique opportunities on the path that he wanted to take.

This book has been at the tip of the author's fingers his whole adult life. The book was titled, and the cover was sketched twenty to thirty years before he actually put fingers to keys this year. He understood early on, that having been exposed to the "rules of life" and his other family ideas, at such a young age was not only unusual, but if it could be written about and put to use, it would be a serious advantage in life.

He began writing about this unique experience the week after Covid-19 forced the world into hiding. He wrote for thirteen weeks straight and was thrilled to finally get this out; a goal he had that was hiding from his conscience for years and even in retirement. He officially retired from a paycheck seven years ago at fifty seven; another goal of his from about thirty years earlier, too. His wife of thirty-nine years, his three children and spouses and four grandchildren, are his greatest treasure and he thanks God every day for the gift of family and the joy of faith.
