Johonna is a conservative yet talented teenager who lives with her mother, a screenplay writer, in a hotel in Riverside, California. She seeks to escape the eccentricities of life in the shadow of Hollywood by losing herself in a world that offers solace and order-the world of music. Lillie Greenwood grew up and attended college in Montana. Having written mostly technical material in the past, Passages is Lillie's first published novel. She is a law professor and lives on a small horse farm outside of Lansing, Michigan.
