Things to Know As You Grow is a collection of rhymes designed to teach children to listen, smile, and not stress over mistakes. Inspired by a perfectly wild 2-year-old, the book aims to aid in teaching "life lessons" through playful pictures and catchy rhymes. Readers can also have fun finding the little snail and firefly placed throughout the pages of the book.

With a history of putting life into words, it was only fitting that parenting would create a new chapter in S.P. Johnson's lifelong journal. As a published author and songwriter, S.P. Johnson moved into children's books to create something special for her own children and decided to share it with others. Equipped with a Bachelor's in English, an MBA, and a current solid grade of B in her crash-course in Parenting 101, S.P. Johnson hopes to add some fun and humor to the wild world of parenting.
