Born in the Fifties, Now in My Fifties

This book just scrapes the surface of the author's life. It touches on his upbringing, the divorce of his parents, the leaving of his brothers and his own relocation as a teen. Moving into puberty, through teen-hood and on into the rest of his tumultuous, nomadic being, is written the story of a man, now in his fifties, who had done the things that most normal people do and much more. The underlying tone becomes of how he transgressed into alcoholism for many years and then turned his life completely around to become once again and integral part of society. At the age of forty-seven the author decided enough is enough of the bottle and just set it aside. If you were born in the fifties and now in your fifties, one may be able to relate rather well to the saga of this man's life.
