The Henry & Harriett series was created by the father-daughter, writer-illustrator team of Walker Hanson and Avery L. Laughlin.

Walker Hanson is a father of seven children and twenty-two grandchildren. He has always loved writing poems and sharing them with his family and close friends. Avery L. Laughlin is a mother of two, artist and illustrator based in Pittsburgh. Where she creates colorful, whimsy works of art.
