Brats on Mainstreet

Every Fourth of July and Labor Day, BRATS (members of the Bisbee Rollin'¬" Arts Transport Society) take over the streets in downtown Bisbee, Ariz. with their unique art coasters. This children'¬"s photo book, for readers 9 and up, captures the BRATS first run in July 2009. Among the 13 coasters, there'¬"s a turtle, a cottage on wheels, a locomotive, an upside down bathtub and Grannie Annie in her camera coaster. Dreamed up by local artists, Poe Dismuke and Andrew Weber, BRATS parade their creations on holidays with a whole new slew of art coasters each year. This is Ann Widmann'¬"s first children'¬"s book, but readers can expect to hear more about Grannie Annie'¬"s adventures in the Southwest.
