An Explicit Nature

After a lengthy rehabilitation from a near-fatal car accident fifteen years prior, Sharelle Langford-Hughes thought she had put her past far behind her. While resuming her career as a critically-acclaimed, best-selling novelist, she was looking forward to enjoying the long-anticipated experience of an empty nest with her husband, Eric. However, the life that she has always dreamed of quickly turns into a nightmare. She suddenly finds herself battling a bizarre and startling physical disorder of a psychological origin which progresses to the point of her seeking the help of a psychiatrist. As if that's not enough, she discovers that her husband, for years, has been hiding a disturbing behavioral disorder of his own. This discovery gives rise to questions about her accident that she has never questioned before. Though Sharelle hasn't fully regained her memory, with respect to the events that led to the accident, she suspects that there are some dark details about it that are being withheld from her. As her psychic friend delivers cryptic clues, by way of text messages, Sharelle begins to put the pieces of a most sinister puzzle together that forms a picture of lies, deceit and murderous plotting. In her quest to regain her memory and learn the truth surrounding the accident, she comes to the realization that the answers lie somewhere deep in her subconscious mind.
