Mimic the Devil

Mimic the Devil is the story of how a great love can become twisted into desperate need for vengeance and what happens when that insatiable hunger remains unquenched. THE JUDGE finds himself presiding over the rapist who killed his wife and decides to take the role of executioner, murdering the man in front of a full courtroom. CHARLIE places his mother in a mental institution because after twenty years of suffering with the consequences of being raped, the birth of Charlie, she has given in completely to her mental illness. Charlie has no one; an interracial man who feels he has no place in society and nothing to live for except his intense resentment for his father. SEAN is about to start a new life. He's a top graduate from medical school and is about to marry the woman he loves, but she has a past filled with secret pain and incestuous abuse. When he finds her murdered at the hands of her abusive father in a murder-suicide, there is no outlet for the vengeful hatred left in his heart. These three characters collide in a thrilling quest for revenge, social change and ultimate justice, but what they find is that vengeance is unquenchable, life doesn't stop with the death of a great love, and no justice is ultimate.
