Warriors Without Armor

Warriors Without Armor is a spiritual and psychological exploration into the psyche of an idealistic nineteen-year-old college sophomore. Far more impacted by President John F. Kennedy's assassination and funeral than he'd realized at the time, Charles White had to wait until he reached his sixties to grasp the extent to which the five major assassinations of the Sixties forever altered his personal landscape and changed the course of his life. Warriors Without Armor is his story of what Jackie Kennedy, President Kennedy, Robert Kennedy, Malcolm X, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Medgar Evers, and James Baldwin meant to him, and how, through them, he came to realize his mission in life.
