Lola joined Paula Zavrl's family when her father passed away in 2009. She quickly became a very large part of their lives. When she began to get older and couldn't go on walks, they bought her a stroller and started taking her for long walks around Boston. She loved it. Paula really started to notice how much of an impact she had on everyone she met. Their travels with Lola taught Paula and her family a real lesson about kindness.

Julie Murphy grew up in wonderful, historical Boston, which will always have a very special place in her heart.
